Come 1.5, we're never going to use them again yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! <3
Gone are the noobs that sit in the turret firing at the MCC and friendly vehicles, giving away our position. Gone are the idiots in Dropships hoping to score kills with a small rail gun. And gone are the extra PG and CPU we had to sacrifice to fit on these useless things
Best patch ever.

Same company different studios, one has near perfected the player feedback process, the other is still rolling on the floor after it fell over its first baby step. |

No and no, you don't. I despise blueberry gunners with a passion, they all send me mails when I ask them to get out "BUT I'M HELPING!" Nope, you just shot a turret and it helped kill me with that enemy tank, you continued firing at the sky so the enemies knew where we were and/or you see we're about to die, you don't get out so I can recall or better yet you switch seats and drive my tank off into the reddots.
Your kind are vultures and parasites, deal with it.

You do know that firing won't light us up anyways, it's the sound. Sound plays a massive role in Tanks, you can usually locate a Tank the moment its turret starts going off (if you're nearby). You imagine you're sneaking up on someone who is very capable at locating Tanks through sound and your gunner is just firing up at the MCC, that advantage is gone.

You don't need Aim Assist if you can aim, that's lesson 1. Scattered Blasters are immense on any vehicle (except LAVs, LAVs are transport and murder taxi, gunning is a pain in the ass.) but why use them when blue dots take them and fire at MCCs? "lulamhalpinguise."
They use up much needed PG and CPU, if I have the ability to get 1000+ more eHP at the cost of some idiot not being able to shoot at the MCC? I'm going to take that extra eHP.
Also, the Railgun is ****, 50% effectiveness on Vehicles and has ******* bullet drop. You'd be better off sitting next to the tank with a forge.
Canari Elphus wrote:I actually have fun helping out tankers (in my squad) as a small turret gunner. But then again, Im actually listening to the driver and focusing on redberries that are coming up from behind trying to throw nades.
That's different, your tanker wants you to help, you're squaded together and you're both communicating, random blues are parasites, detrimental to survival. They also steal your proper gunners spots if the gunner jumps out to be useful (such as hacking objectives or hunting the guy on the roof with swarms.)

Tanks are so friggin noisy even when not moving. I can hear them rolling along a good ways out. I locate them by the sound of their treads...
to Infantry, I can see what you mean but when two tanks are on the map, you can never tell if its your engine or theirs, there are also distinct differences of sound when a Tank is moving or still, so if you've stopped and the tank is moving behind you you'll hear him, but if you're moving and he's moving or you're both stopped, it's difficult to pinpoint.. until somebody fires a turret xD
